Government Must Spend More to Revive the Economy

There is adequate fiscal space, broadly defined, for the government to India to spend more on reviving both consumption demand and investment demand by utilising excess foreign exchange reserves and selling surplus land held by government organisations, argues Professor Gurbachan Singh in an interview with Newsclick.
