This video is the sixth in a series of eight (8) video recordings of the performances of artistes at the “Music as Protest” festival that took place on the 2nd of December 2024 at Jawahar Bhavan, New Delhi, India. The event held on a Monday evening had an audience of more than 300 and was organised by Janta Radio.
Purple Penchant is a New Delhi-based rock band led by Bhanu Sharma (vocals, guitar) and Avik Roy (percussion). The event was organised by Amartya Ghosh, Trina Shankar, Aditi Sharma and Paranjoy Guha Thakurta. The camerapersons were Trina Shankar, Mohit Kumar and Saurav Somvanshi. The videos were post-produced by Trina Shankar and Aditi Sharma.
